We are back on the road again!
Don’t miss our latest video below “HOBO CAMP” For best results watch it in 1080P and crank up the volume to mach-10
After a busy summer spent dealing with family matters part of the time at our home in Denali and also in the Chitina area of Wrangell St Elias NP, we were very ready to be back on the road.

We finally depart basecamp on Oct 1 and head south, winter was very close on our heels with many nights in the 20’s.

We eventually find warmer weather in southern British Columbia. We post up for a while in the Thompson River Canyon just north of its confluence with the Frasier River.

Ruby Watches For Road Hazards near Muncho Lake Provincial Park
Our Thompson River camp happens to be one of our favorites in BC especially if you are a train afici0nado like myself.
With tracks on both sides of the canyon we can sometimes have two trains passing us at the same time, a very busy section of railroad.

We spend some quality time relaxing along the river before again heading south into America.

Future plans are to slowly travel south following the sun’s warmth probably as far as the tip of Baja.

What a lovely surprise to see a video amongst all the chatter of the election. We are headed to Mexico in December, five days in Mexico City, followed by seven days in Zihuatanejo. Glad to see you on the road again. Happy trails.
Hi Mary, Hope the video helped during the election, sounds like a great trip to Mexico City, don’t miss the Mayan museum very excellent, and Zihuatanejo should be warm and sunny, have a blast!!
Aww! Looks like you’re off to a grand adventure again. I love the way you included Otis and thanked him for the 18 years of memories. Loved you all waving at the passing trains (including Ruby!). Also loved Ruby’s stick which she was proudly carrying. Tell her Aonghas loves sticks too! Wishing you good health and safe travels! Love, Kay Lynn, David, Aonghas, & Duncan
Thanks Kay Lynn, Ruby has a ton fun at that camp, it was fun visiting you guys this fall, Ruby can’t wait to play with Angus again and maybe Duncan in the spring. Hi to David!
